Job Summary

The Program Manager is an integral part of a fast-paced programs team. He/she is a mission focused, seasoned, strategic, and entrepreneurial individual with experience leading an innovative program with targeted outputs and outcomes. Manager embraces research and advocacy and shows hunger for future leadership opportunities as the program scales.  This program serves young adults, ages 18-22, that have aged out of the child welfare system and are enrolled in the State University system.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees program for delivery and process of the Model of Care to young adult clients
  • Maintains limited case load of direct care service
  • Leads staff of therapists providing direct care service
  • Accountable for program measurements and metrics and leads key projects to scale the program
  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation, including entering and maintaining client contact and demographic data in CMS
  • Process client applications
  • Complete multiple assessments of young adult clients
  • Provide resources/professional referrals specific to needs of young adult clients
  • Track client/mentor interaction to ensure commitment is being fulfilled
  • Obtain clear understanding of the family history
  • Create actionable plan for the young adult client
  • Conduct trauma-informed life coaching and therapy virtually or in-person as appropriate
  • Collaborates with strategic partners in the community and within the University system
  • Operate with a growth mindset through oversight of program data, compliance and communication with stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Required master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other behavioral health field
  • Licensure in good standing in the state of Tennessee as either LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • Five years of experience in managing a team preferred
  • Experience with telehealth preferred
  • Preferred Trust-Based Relational Intervention
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from clients
  • Demonstrated experience in client support and direct client communications
  • Proven ability to lead program expansion
  • Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in the child welfare sector
  • Quiet workspace and high-speed internet and phone connection to support telehealth services and video conferencing
  • Experience providing trauma-responsive therapeutic services
  • Knowledge of barriers related to the foster care system

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk or other work area
  • Software-Preferred: Asana, Entrepreneurial Operating System-EOS, Salesforce, T-sheets
  • Technically Competent with Microsoft Suite/Office 365
