Audra graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (go Huskers!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Later she graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Master of Public Administration. Audra began her career in non-profit human service organizations, working with a variety of clientele, including homeless teens, pregnant and parenting teens, and victims of domestic violence and their children.
Audra found her way into grants after earning her master’s degree, initially administering Nebraska’s statewide Juvenile Justice funding and overseeing its Juvenile Justice Plan. She has nearly 20 years of grant writing and management experience, most recently for a local community college. She is grateful to be on the Chosen team and believes her career has now come full circle, with the opportunity to write and manage grants for an organization with a mission aimed at healing families and keeping them together.
Audra is married and has two adult stepsons, as well as a spunky little dog and two cats. She enjoys gardening, cooking, watching movies, and traveling with her husband.
