Barry Harms is an experienced financial professional with a heart for honoring God and expanding His Kingdom. After a 20+ year career in public accounting serving a multitude of closely held and publicly held businesses, Barry felt a calling to use his accounting and financial experience in a not-for-profit, faith-based organization. Rising to equivalent role of Chief Financial Officer for the largest Christian retailer in America, he melded that experience with his calling to a faith-based organization. Following that role, he “retired” only to be led back into other CFO roles with a large tire wholesaler and retailer and then with a start-up manufacturer that quickly became the largest producer of zinc oxide in North America. Retiring (again) from that organization he thought he was done with the working world only to find out that God had another role for him to play. Following one of his life verses in Matthew 25:40 he felt he could assist in providing support to “the least of these brothers and sisters of mine”, i.e. those families in the foster and adoption world bringing desperate connections in a family environment.
