Brian Anderson is the Chief Financial Officer at Chosen, where he leads financial strategy and compliance to support the organization’s mission of helping children and families heal. With a focus on excellence, clarity, and stewardship, he brings a strategic mindset to building systems that sustain high-impact, relationship-centered care.
Previously, Brian was CEO of Unbound Now, a global anti-trafficking nonprofit, where he unified regional operations and back-office functions into a 100+ person organization—maintaining service continuity and financial health through a complex merger.
Before entering the nonprofit sector, Brian founded and led a private equity firm focused on acquiring and growing lower middle market companies, emphasizing disciplined analysis, operational rigor, and values-based leadership.
Earlier, Brian served for a decade as a Navy Special Operations Officer in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community. He led counter-IED missions and held senior roles within Tier One special operations units, earning multiple commendations, including the Bronze Star and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
Brian holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. As a faith-driven leader, he believes every endeavor—approached with discipline and humility—can reflect God’s character.
