Catherine Haskell, MBA

Human Resources Generalist

Catherine strongly believes in Chosen’s mission to help heal children from abuse and neglect, demonstrated by her role as a foster parent. As a foster parent, she worked closely with Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services in creating a loving and caring environment for her foster daughter while the family worked toward reunification.

Catherine has years of experience working as a human resource professional. She is passionate about helping organizations find exceptional talent and assisting team members in their career journey. At Chosen, Catherine’s goal as Human Resource Generalist is to provide support and customer service to all employees.

Catherine has many years of experience working at educational institutions where she mentored youth and assisted them in meeting their educational and career goals. Catherine finds working with children and at-risk youth to be extremely rewarding, which spurred her to become a foster care parent.

Catherine holds both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Horticulture and an MBA from the University of Maine.

Catherine enjoys volunteering for different non-profit organizations, especially institutions in a position to offer support to at-risk youth. Her past positions have included volunteer work for Kiwanis, Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity.

Catherine has a son and daughter-in-law who live in Maine with their four children, and she also has a daughter and son-in-law who reside in Central Florida with their three children.

Catherine recently relocated from Maine to Florida. The additional sunshine allows her to explore the local sights with her family, attend sporting events in which her grandchildren participate, and form new connections in her community. In her downtime, she enjoys staying connected with friends and family, volunteering, and traveling to new places.
