LaVonda Deloney is a seasoned HR Executive Consultant and passionate Servant Leader that thrives on creating win-win scenarios for both organizations and their beloved patrons. As a native to the beautiful state of Georgia, she shares over 25 years of professional experience in all aspects of progressive human resources business, strategic planning and executive management. She proudly hails as a University of Phoenix Cum Laude alum (Atlanta Campus) where she obtained both her
Undergraduate and Graduate (MBA) degrees in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. LaVonda’s career of late has primarily been focused in the private consulting and non-profit arenas where she assists small and mid-sized organizations with establishing full HR departments or scaling their HR divisions to assist C-Suite leaders with strategic plans and goals.
LaVonda began her career in the manufacturing industry and later moved to higher education, banking and finance, public service and non-profit sectors of business. She has partnered with local organizations, colleges and universities, and various institutions and non-profits across the nation. Finally she landed her purpose-driven position as Director of Human Resources with Chosen Care, Inc. in May 2023. LaVonda is most fulfilled when she can assist with taking our fragile community members from surviving to thriving.
Though she has a breadth of experience in all things HR, LaVonda specializes in strategic planning, organizational development and employee relations from a holistic standpoint. Understanding the need to remain relevant and competitive in an ever changing society is paramount to the survival of key business structures. LaVonda welcomes the opportunity to aid Chosen with reaching higher heights as we continue to expand our vision to see trauma responsive care and relational connections as the standard in the child and family well-being system.
In LaVonda’s spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with and guiding her two young adult children through their college careers. She is an avid volunteer for special causes; a public speaker among the civic organizations to which she belongs; and giver of time to her home church in various capacities which serve our surrounding community.
