Stephanie is the Clinical Manager for Chosen. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas, and also currently holds counseling licenses in the states of Georgia and Florida. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. She has spent her career serving children, families, and adults from hard places across various settings. Stephanie is excited to use her clinical skills and experience to serve our mission of helping children heal from trauma by strengthening their families! Stephanie is trained in and currently working on certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Professional Certification. Stephanie is trained in Level 1 and 2 Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy as well.

Stephanie has experience as a clinical trainer, and is able to train clinicians, staff, families, and stakeholders on a variety of different topics. She has specific experience training in Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, Clinical Documentation, Trauma-Informed Training, and various social skills training curricula, including the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment (CANS), as well as the Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA).

Stephanie has been married to her husband, Paul, for 10 years, and together they have one daughter, Hannah. They also have a call to grow their family through foster/adoption in the near future. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, running (without being chased), and photography.
