Taylor is passionate, excited, and motivated to help children heal from past trauma through strengthening family systems and relationships by using a holistic approach. Her role at Chosen as the Clinical Supervisor directly supports our mission by being responsible for expansion and management of the clinical services within our organization. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, Taylor will maintain a caseload of clients and utilize Chosen’s model of care and trauma-informed modalities as needed.

Taylor Joined Chosen in May of 2022. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University. Taylor believes it was installed in her to find purpose and a deep love of caring for others and seeking to share their burdens by walking with them throughout the challenging times in their lives, as well as times of growth and celebration. Taylor has spent her career serving children and families from hard places across various settings including schools, the juvenile justice system, and the medical field. Taylor utilizes a person-centered perspective when serving children and their families and believes that a strong authentic therapeutic relationship with her clients is essential in the process of healing. Taylor has specific training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychotherapy, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and Motivational interviewing.

Taylor has been with her husband for 9 years, and together have 2 fur children, Wallace and Willow.  In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends, DIY’s, being outdoors, staying active, enjoying the local coffee shops, and traveling.
