Yolanda is deeply dedicated to her mission of helping children and families recover from trauma by ensuring they have access to intervention services that strengthen family systems. As a Care Manager at Chosen, her role plays a pivotal part in supporting the organization’s overarching goal of bringing hope, help, and healing to families who have been affected by the child welfare system.

Yolanda’s journey with Chosen began in 2022 when she joined as an intern during her MSW program, and now holds a master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University.  As a bilingual retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, she brings a unique set of skills and experiences to her work.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Yolanda is a proud mother to an outstanding young man. In her leisure time, she cherishes moments spent with her family and friends. Yolanda also enjoys reading, traveling, and embracing the great outdoors.
