Dear Chosen friends,

It is with sadness that I share we have canceled our Havana Nights Gala on May 8 due to Covid-19. We have been following the World Health Organization, CDC and local government recommendations and this is the most prudent step at this time.

But we really need your help. Unfortunately, we are already seeing an increase of calls and needs from hurting children and families. As schools and daycares have closed and are at risk of staying closed, this is causing further strain in families. Our program staff is working around the clock to meet the needs of all clients.

Fortunately, because we have been using telehealth for years via a HIPPA compliant platform, there is no interruption to services.

The expected net gain for our gala was $100k, which directly funds our therapeutic programs to help children heal from trauma by strengthening their families.

We ask that in lieu of a table or attendance this year, you please make a generous contribution so that we have the ongoing resources to care for our vulnerable children and families.

You can give here. We are working diligently to find the best ways to recoup the projected income, and you may be hearing from us again in the near future.

May you each stay healthy and prosperous during these uncertain times. Our hearts & prayers go out to all individuals and businesses adversely impacted by this virus.
