Ogugua Anene-Maidoh

Ogugua Anene-Maidoh, MD received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and then migrated to Florida for better weather. She completed a General Psychiatry residency as well as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of South Florida.

She began a position as the attending psychiatrist at a Child Crisis Stabilization unit where she cares for children and adolescents experiencing severe mental health crises that require hospitalization. Based on her experience, she is cognizant of the effects of trauma on the overall mental health and wellbeing of children. She looks forward to joining Chosen’s mission to help children heal from trauma by strengthening their families.

Dr. Anene-Maidoh and her husband live in Tampa Florida where they are raising 3 amazing kids.
