Meredith grew up in San Marcos, Texas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University with a degree in Family and Consumer Science and a minor in Social Work. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and will graduate in December. Meredith is also preparing to test to become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the end of 2023.
Meredith served as the Community Outreach Coordinator at TruChoice Pregnancy Resource Center before attending graduate school. She then served as Assistant Director of the Mother’s Day Out program at First Baptist Church San Marcos. Meredith discovered early on that she has a love for children, a desire to help families thrive, and a passion to serve others.
In the summer and fall of 2022, Meredith completed a six-month internship with Chosen through her graduate program at UTA. While at Chosen, she found the program to be a near perfect fit with her ideals to strengthen and preserve families. She is so excited for the opportunity to join Chosen full-time as a Care Manager where she will strive to provide hope for hurting families.
Meredith lives in San Marcos with her two cats, Meep and Millie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, crafting, or relaxing by the pool.
