SAN ANTONIO — It’s a stressful situation for families. Being quarantined with children not going to school, parents working at home and in some cases losing the family’s income.
Now imagine being a foster family going through COVID-19.
“So these kiddos have a lot of behavioral needs and a lot of behavioral issues and now they’re all confined. No they’re not leaving the house for school or day care and so There’s an elevated behavioral need that the children are experiencing which causes a lot of parental stress as you can imagine,” said Jenni Lord, CEO of Chosen.
