IN HONOR OF ONE TRULY SPECIAL
RELENTLESS CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN

We have established the Arlene Veazey Memorial Scholarship Fund

In honor of one truly special relentless champion and advocate for children, we have established the Arlene Veazey Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Arlene first became involved with Chosen through our signature half marathon race in 2012. She helped to raise funds for vulnerable children in her own backyard and around the world. Arlene was a compassionate supporter of Chosen’s families through one of our legacy programs.

Arlene had a heart of gold and will forever be remembered for her selfless service. She was an educator, encourager, ambassador, and advocate. Her tireless work during Chosen’s formative years made the world a better place for hurting children.

Arlene’s abiding faith in Christ gives us confidence that she ran into the arms of her Savior on April 29, 2022. For that, we are grateful.

We will never forget Arlene’s willingness to do whatever it takes to help anyone in need and her special gift of guiding everyone to Jesus.

A gift in Arlene’s name and legacy will contribute to a scholarship fund that helps children receive the services and healthcare they need to heal.

"Oh, the children...
They show me God."
