Angela is passionate about supporting families healing from trauma and ending cycles of abuse and believes this begins with safety and connection. She has dedicated her career to working with families involved in the child welfare system. She has served children and families in a variety of settings including schools, in-home and community-based, on military installations, Children’s Advocacy Center, and through telehealth. Angela brings years of clinical experience in sexual abuse treatment, infant mental health, training of Child Protective Investigators, program development, and leadership. Angela is committed to disrupting generational trauma through systemic change.
Angela joined Chosen in 2022 as the Florida State Director. She earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, with a certificate in Addictions, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has used her professional experience to build effective trauma-responsive therapeutic programs that promote healing.
Angela loves living near the Florida beaches. She enjoys fitness, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
