Vicki has had a lifelong passion for serving children and families and has worked extensively with youth affected by trauma in multiple settings. Prior to joining Chosen, she worked for many years at the Council on At Risk Youth (CARY) in Austin, TX, where she provided case management and behavioral interventions in a school environment, to youth with a history of disciplinary referrals. Though the majority of her professional career has been in the non-profit sector, she also worked as a Clinical Assessment Specialist for a company that provided treatment to individuals with eating disorders, as well as mood and anxiety disorders. Vicki is an LMSW and received both her BSW and MSW from the University of Texas in Austin.
In her free time Vicki enjoys listening to audiobooks, working puzzles, running (very slowly) and spending time with her husband, three teenage children and their family dog.
