Chosen Care, Inc. serves children and families affected by abuse, neglect and loss. Our solution to the child welfare crisis is simple: support vulnerable children by strengthening families. We’re looking for innovative hardworking team players who want to make an impact and change the world.
Chosen was founded with a single mission: to help children, youth, and families prevent and heal trauma from maltreatment through healthy relational connections.
Brief History and Timeline
We started as a race to fundraise so that children wouldn’t languish in an institution or system. Children belong in families. But it didn’t stop there. We saw deeper need to help children and families overcome trauma and be successful long term. We asked ourselves an important question: how can we better serve families so that they stay together? From there, our agency evolved as our model of care was birthed.
The Leadership department ensures that the mission and vision are being aligned with core values. Reviewing and looking ahead to see what the organization needs to be successful long term.
The Operations department ensures that the process and procedures are completed from start to finish. These processes need to line up with the goals and functions of other departments within a company.
The Program department supports clients by ensuring that our model of care and clinical offerings are meeting clients’ needs. Setting forth curriculum and action plans to use with vulnerable families.
The Mission Advancement department manages all systems and strategies, including donor relations, marketing, and communications, event management, and fundraising appeals.
