New Leader Joins Chosen’s Leadership Team to Lead Clinical Programs and Drive Growth
San Antonio, TX, November 27, 2023 – Chosen, a leading nonprofit dedicated to helping children and families heal from trauma through connection, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Angela Roberson as the Vice President of Programs. With a deep commitment to Chosen’s core values and a proven track record in leadership, Angela’s role marks an exciting step forward for the organization’s mission of healing and growth.
In her new role as VP of Programs, Nationwide, Angela is an integral part of Chosen’s leadership team and is responsible for developing and implementing Chosen’s clinical programming. Angela will lead the department’s development and supervision of all clinical staff and support the creation of training and policies to foster a culture of trauma-responsive care.
As Chosen’s VP of Programs, Nationwide, Angela will leverage her expertise, leadership and commitment to growth to advance the organization’s healing mission through connection. Her appointment marks a significant milestone in Chosen’s journey toward expanding its impact.
Angela’s commitment to personal and professional development is a crucial driver for Chosen. She fosters a culture of growth with clinical staff, emphasizing the importance of a growth mindset and goals, and she creates and implements personal and professional growth plans.

Before her current role, Angela held multiple roles at Chosen, including the Regional Director for the Eastern Region, where she expanded clinical therapy programs and oversaw the implementation of clinical assessments. She also served as the State Director of Florida, leading the state’s program and ensuring the delivery of Chosen’s Model of Care.
