Lorraine Martinez joins CHOSEN Board of Directors
Martinez’s leadership to guide CHOSEN’s U.S. expansion
January 25, 2021 –Lorraine Martinez, Senior Consultant with The Stephen Group, has joined CHOSEN’s Board of Directors. Martinez comes to CHOSEN with extensive experience in child welfare, foster care, and Medicaid management. She is known throughout the industry for her tireless advocacy for children in the welfare system.
“Lorraine is a standout leader in the child welfare sector, bringing passion, creativity, and commitment to the field,” said CHOSEN CEO Jenni Lord. “Her appointment to our board is incredibly exciting, especially at such a pivotal time when CHOSEN will begin accepting Medicaid and expanding our partnerships around the country. Lorraine’s leadership will help our organization navigate these new relationships.”
For over 25 years, Martinez has worked directly with the foster care community, both professionally and as a volunteer. She currently serves on the Texas CASA Board of Directors and Chairs the Texas CASA Public Policy Committee. Through her front-line and director-level positions in the field, Martinez has developed a true passion for supporting vulnerable children. Her dedication will be a true asset to the CHOSEN board.
