Katie was born in raised in Silsbee, Texas, a small town east of Houston. Growing up, she was heavily involved with her church and has always been passionate about helping others, especially children. She graduated from Lamar University with a Finance and Economics degree and Master of Business Administration in Financial Management. She currently lives in New Braunfels with her husband and two children. She has approximately 10 years of experience in construction accounting and is now the Division Controller of the San Antonio division for SpawGlass.
