Matt Simon is currently serving as the Executive Director of New Hope Carolinas in Rock Hill, South Carolina which is a 150-bed inpatient behavioral health facility for adolescents. Originally hailing from Washington State and then Michigan during his formative years, Matt grew up active in the Young Life organization and as a Youth Pastor at a large non-denominational church. Matt took that love for youth and brought it into his career as a Family Therapist after moving to Charlotte, NC. Matt has had the privilege of leading in the Human Services space for over ten years now; working to grow and expand access to high quality services wherever he went. He particularly has a passion for youth and families who are navigating the aftermath of complex childhood trauma. Matt’s ultimate goal is to drive and lead programs that create lasting systemic and intergenerational change. Matt is beyond excited to help give back some of his time and knowledge to help grow the wonderful mission and services at Chosen!
